Phase separation is the creation of two distinct phases from a single homogeneous mixture.

We offer solutions to:

Separate free (non-emulsified) water from hydrocarbon products.

The most common type of phase separation is between two immiscible liquids such as oil and water and water from diesel or kerosene in aircraft refuelling. Typical sources of water contamination are the production process, transport (emptying of piping and cleaning of tanks), the changes in temperature due to the weather, tank breathing, rainwater intrusion and leakage from for example steam. Hydro-Carbon Filtration & Separation offers a wide variety of coalescing cartridges and second stage separator cartridges for your application.

Typical applications are the separation of fuels, lube oil and hydraulic oils from water in rain run-off, effluent waters and process streams. Hydro-Carbon Filtration & Separation offers coalescing, separation and adsorption solutions for environmental control or recovery of reusable products.
